1. What Is Descriptive Text?

A descriptive text is a type of text used to describe an object, place, person, or process in detail so that the reader can visualize what is being described.

In our daily lives, descriptive text is widely used. We can find it in product catalogs, travel brochures, food recipes, and even in social media tutorials. For example, when reading a product description in an online store, we see details about the item, such as color, size, and main features, which help us understand the product’s characteristics before buying it.

Descriptive text is also used in promotional activities or to introduce tourist destinations to attract people’s interest in visiting those places.

2. Characteristics of Descriptive Text

Domestic waste is the trash or garbage we create at home. It includes things like food scraps, plastic bottles, paper, and old clothes. Every day, we throw away things that we no longer need.

To help protect the environment, it is important to reduce, reuse, and recycle. This means using less, finding new ways to use old things, and making sure items like paper, plastic, and glass are recycled. By managing domestic waste carefully, we can keep the planet cleaner and healthier.
